At the STEM Academy at Thorn Hill, we believe that curiosity should be celebrated, encouraged, and transformed into hands-on experiences. That's why we're thrilled to launch The STEM Kids, an exciting new club where students can explore the incredible world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through creativity, teamwork, and fun.
More Than Just Another Club
The STEM Kids isn't about sitting at a desk listening to lectures.
It's about building.
Creating.
Experimenting.
Flying.
Testing.
Learning by doing.
Each meeting will feature exciting hands-on activities that challenge students to think like engineers, inventors, scientists, and innovators. Members will tackle real-world problems, work together on projects, and discover that mistakes aren't failures—they're simply part of the design process.
What Will We Do?
Members can look forward to activities such as:
- Flying and coding drones
- Building and launching model rockets
- Designing paper airplanes and testing flight performance
- Creating with LEGO® engineering challenges
